Current Events:
The Port Matilda Fire Co. is having a Wise Crackers comedy show at the Fire Hall on Sept. 25 to benefit Chad Reedy. Tickets for the event are $20 and can be arrainged by calling 571-1351. Chad is 15-41 (Assistant Safety Officer). He has terminal cancer of the esophagus.
The Port Matilda Fire Co. is having a Wise Crackers comedy show at the Fire Hall on Nov. 19 to benefit Wilbur Johnston. Tickets for the event are $20 and can be arrainged by calling 571-1351. Wilbur is also having some severe medical problems.
The University Park Airport is also holding a fundraiser for Chad. They are selling ham sandwiches, a bag of chips and two homemade chocolate chip cookies for $5, with all of the profits going to Chad. Orders are due by August 17th (and must be paid for in advance). They will deliver the bag lunch to people on either the 19th (in the evening), or on the 20th.
